Doctor/P.A. Team Approach

Our approach at Village Dermatology is different from the national model. We work out of a single office location, where Dr. Tran is assisted by a team of Board Certified Physician Assistants (PA-Cs). By being in the same place each day, our P.A. team collaborates directly with Dr. Tran, and eliminate the practice of scheduling follow-up visits just to be seen by the doctor. Our method allows us to more easily coordinate your care, making more efficient decisions, and giving you the opportunity to develop a relationship with people you know and trust.

Dr. Thi Tran, D.O.

Dr. Tran has dual-board certification in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and American Academy of Dermatology. He did his undergraduate work at Case Western Reserve University, and received his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tran completed his residency and post-graduate training in medical and surgical dermatology at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Tran has been published in leading dermatology journals and has presented at national conferences for the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is renowned for his work in Mohs micrographic surgery and facial reconstructive repair for skin cancer surgery, and his practice fostered the development of the Il Duomo Sim Skin model. Dr. Tran was nationally recognized with Most Compassionate Doctor and Patients’ Choice Award, as a reflection of the high quality of care that he and his staff provide.
